Melissa Gil has been practicing yoga for over 14 years. She fell in love with yoga the first time she practiced. Meli has been teaching family and friends informally and completed her 200 hr yoga teacher training here at Breath Salt Yoga last year.

During the 8 month training Meli found out she was pregnant. She did't let that stop her and completed the training all through the different stages of pregnancy, first trimester nausea and uncontrollable tiredness, second trimester feeling great, and third trimester with a big belly in the way and a few aches and pains. Meli practiced yoga every day until little Emi was born naturally at home surrounded by her loving parents and grandparents.

Meli knows how much yoga helped her, not only to feel comfortable and fit all throughout the pregnancy, but also during the birth and even now as a new mom. In her own words: "Yoga has had such a positive impact in my life. It has helped me physically and emotionally deal with anything that comes my way. Mothering can be hard on our body, our mind and our heart. I want to help other moms lift those burdens and truly enjoy a life filled with all the love and happiness we deserve."
