Start this new year off powerfully by setting intentions, opening your heart, and expressing yourself, through movement, dance, connection, and community.
The ceremony will be at Jupiter beach access #33 on Sunday 1/2/2022 at 6pm. Investment is a 22$ donation. The ceremony will be lead by Hanna Foster, Layna Moehl and Kimberly Depesquale.
So much of what we do is rooted in our intention/sankalpa. Sankalpa is a Sanskrit term in yogic philosophy that refers to a heartfelt desire, a solemn vow, an intention, or a resolve to do something. It is similar to the English concept of a resolution, except that it comes from even deeper within and tends to be an affirmation.
This ceremony is at the beginning of the year and on the new moon to link up these powerful portals. Consciously choose to activate and empower yourself this year by deciding what heartfelt desires you want to nourish, grow and cultivate. Choose what you want more of and release what is no longer serving you.
You will be supported in doing this by the beautiful medicine of cacao. Cacao is a vasodilator which means it allows more blood, oxygen and nutrients to flow through your body. It is also known as a heart open in the spiritual community allowing you to connect more freely with your heart, love and passion.
Also we will be having an ecstatic dance ceremony as well to activate these energies within and release anything that is holding you back. Ecstatic dance is a freeform type of dance. The only thing we ask of you is to help us create a safe space to allow everyone to drop deep inside their process. The rules are similar to a yoga class no talking during the ceremony, no drugs or alcohol, and no phones or photos.
