Join us as Jennifer Baez, yoga and meditation teacher, takes you on a sonic journey. Participants will lay on the floor in supported Savasana as the sound waves wash over you. Whether you are a new or experienced meditator, this experience is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.
Spend an hour "bathing" in healing vibrations from crystal and Tibetan singing bowls as well as other sound tools and instruments. Like any instrument, our bodies and nervous systems require regular tuning in order to exist in harmony. Sound helps to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency which the brainwave can attune to. When we entrain our brainwaves with sound it becomes possible to downshift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness) and even reach theta (meditative).
